It rings very true and for several years have been trying to do exactly that. One of the SME's or Mods here brought up the very good point that 500 rounds of whatever you have is better than 0 rounds of the newest super sexy Mk262/TBBC/GDHP whatever. keep it simple! dont over think the issues. The hole idea of this issue is to put a metal pill in them. There is no such thing as a majik bullet. Its no 77grain but what the heck.Well? I have to agree with the above qoute. I have also noticed the MK262 MOD 0 I get at work shoots real dirty, matter of fact the WPA is much cleaner shooting. Everything I have ever done comes down to shot placement so the cheap stuff still works for me. Its no 77grain but what the heck.īut when budgets are tight, the cheap stuff still works. Having the ability and know how to cast new bullets, reload and have a stash of powder and the likes around is also a good idea.īut when budgets are tight, the cheap stuff still works. So for us its a win win deal.Īs for the number I cant say exactly what we have and nor would I but into the tens of thousands seems very realistic. I can buy 500 rounds for $94.00 which allows me to stockpile and shoot alot! I have also noticed the zero from green tips is almost dead on with the WPA stuff. Alot of guys turn there nose up anything other than brass cased, but unless your reloading who cares. The case is mixed metal some sort of steel or aluminum. I like the WPA (wolfs higher end stuff) that non corrosive powder and primer. We use internet places like and have enjoyed it. What we have chosen to do is buy cheap and stack it deep. I also like the green tip but again to spendy for stockpiles. I love to shoot MK262 MOD0/1 but cant afford to keep tens of thousands around. I think you should find the right balance for you that is quality and priced right.
